Zwei weitere Maid Mirjam / Two more Maid Mirjam

Da mir diese Elemente echt viel Spaß gemacht haben, habe ich direkt noch zwei Sets gemacht - man braucht ja auch ein bisschen Farbauswahl. 😁

Bei der einen Kette hab ich dann unten auch noch einen Bogen mit einem Tropfen dran gefädelt - gefällt mir auch ganz gut. Was meint ihr, lieber mit oder ohne den Tropfen unten?

Ich habe die Follower jetzt auf follow.it umgestellt und hoffe das alles klappt und ihr weiterhin benachrichtigt werdet bei neuen Posts!

At the bottom of one necklace I attached a bow with a drop - I really like it. What do you think, with or without the drop at the bottom?

Toho Challenge 2021

Ich habe mich mega gefreut als Herr Schröder von Twinkle Beads mich vor ein paar Monaten ganz unverhofft anrief um mir zu sagen, dass ich bei Toho als featured Designerin für die Toho Challenge 2021 ausgewählt wurde und er fragte, ob ich Lust dazu hätte. Na klar hatte ich!

Dann hat es noch mal eine ganze Zeit gedauert bis das Kit bei mir ankam, meine Geduld wurde auf eine ziemlich harte Probe gestellt. 😂

Inzwischen ist mein Design fertig und Toho hat es auf seiner Seite bei Facebook gezeigt, so dass ich es euch auch hier zeigen kann.

Es war wieder mal eine echte Herausforderung für mich so viele Farben und Farbnuancen in einem Design zu verarbeiten. Meine Kette heißt "Triangle Maniac" und besteht, wie der Name schon vermuten lässt, nur aus verschiedenen dreieckigen Elementen.

I was really happy when Mr. Schröder from Twinkle Beads called me unexpectedly a few months ago to tell me that I had been selected as featured designer for the Toho Challenge 2021 and he asked if I would like to take part. Of course I wanted!!!

Then it took a long time for the kit to get to me, my patience was put to a pretty hard test. 😂

In the meantime my design is finished and Toho has shown it on their page on Facebook, so that I can show it to you here, too.

Once again, it was a real challenge for me to combine so many colors and color nuances in one design. My necklace is called "Triangle Maniac" and, as the name suggests, consists only of various triangular elements.

FollowByEmail - Änderungen / changes

Vor ein paar Wochen schon wurde angekündigt, dass FollowByEmail ab Juli nicht mehr funktionieren wird. Das heißt für unseren Blog, dass wenn Ihr uns über Email folgt bald keine Benachrichtigungen bei neuen Posts mehr bei euch ankommen, was sehr schade ist.

Wir haben jetzt eine Alternative ins Auge gefasst von https://follow.it welche wir gerne ausprobieren würde. Das heißt konkret, dass wir eure Mailadressen dorthin übertragen werden um es dann umschalten zu können.

Wer dies nicht möchte hat natürlich die Möglichkeit sich vom "Newsletter" abzumelden (in jeder Mail steht dazu unten ein Link) oder kann uns eine Mail schicken, dann nehmen wir ihn raus.

Wir würden uns aber  natürlich sehr freuen, wenn Ihr alle mit an Bord bleibt und unseren Blog weiterhin besucht!

We have now considered an alternative from https://follow.it which we would like to try. Specifically, that means that we will transfer your email addresses there so that we can switch it.

If you don't want this, you can of course unsubscribe from the "newsletter" (there is a link at the bottom in every email from our blog) or you can send us an email, then we'll take you out of the list.

Jacaranda Armbänder und Ringe / bracelets and rings

Zu meinen Jacaranda Ketten (die Anleitung wurde ja in der Beadwork Spring 2021 veröffentlicht) habe ich mir jetzt noch Armbänder und Ringe gefädelt damit meine Sets komplett sind.
Es gibt eigentlich keine großen Änderungen zur Kette, so dass ihr mit der Anleitung auch diese Schmuckstücke fädeln können solltet.

For my Jacaranda necklaces (the instructions were published in Beadwork Spring 2021) I made additionally bracelets and rings so that my sets are complete now.
There are actually no major changes to the necklace, so you should be able to bead these pieces with that necklace pattern.

Curlicue Anleitung / pattern

Da einige sich schon für das Muster bedankt haben, dass eigentlich nur dafür gedacht war es einmal ganz zu zeigen (am Stift sieht man es ja schlecht), gibt es jetzt eine vernünftige Anleitung - auf dem kleinen Bildchen kann man es ja wirklich schlecht erkennen. 😏
Hätte nicht gedacht, dass es so gut ankommt... ich wünsche euch viel Spaß damit!

After some beaders have already thanked for the pattern, which was actually only intended to show it in full (it's hard to see it on the pen), here comes the pattern for you - it is really difficult to see it on the little picture . 😏

Curlicue

Heute habe ich nur ein einfaches Peyote-Muster für einen Gelstift zum zeigen, welches ich schon vor einiger Zeit gefädelt habe. Leider habe ich vergessen es vor dem anbringen am Stift zu fotografieren.

Today I just have a simple peyote pattern for a gel pen to show which I made some time ago. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of it before attaching it to the pen.

Saladine türkis-violett

Diese Farbkombi meiner "Saladine" habe ich euch noch gar nicht gezeigt, dass will ich jetzt schnell nachholen, da mir die Farben zusammen echt gut gefallen.
Welche Farbkombis gefallen euch denn besonders gut, habt ihr Favoriten die ihr immer wieder gerne nehmt? Oder probiert ihr lieber öfter mal was neues aus?

I haven't shown you this version of my "Saladine" yet, I want to catch up on that quickly, because I really love this color combination.
Which color combinations do you particularly like, do you have favorites that you love to use again and again? Or do you prefer to try something new more often?

Karten zum Mutter-und Vatertag / Cards for Mother's and Father's Day

Vor einiger Zeit habe ich ja auch noch ein bisschen mit dem Papier basteln angefangen und so sind zu Mutter- und Vatertag diese beiden Karten nach einer YouTube Anleitung von Babsis Bastelwerkstatt entstanden. Das hat echt Spaß gemacht und es sind tolle persönliche Geschenke.

Some time ago I also started tinkering with paper and so I made these two cards for Mother's Day and Father's Day according to a YouTube tutorial from Babsis Bastelwerkstatt. It was really fun and they are great personal gifts.

Set zur Kette "True Romance" von Sandra Scholte

Ich bin in unserer Familie nicht die Einzige die auf komplette Sets steht und so hatte meine Mutter sich zu ihrer "True Romance" Kette (Design von Sandra Scholte) natürlich noch das passende Armband und den passenden Ring gewünscht.
Ich habe so gut es ging versucht das Design auf diese Schmuckstücke zu übertragen und ihr heute zum Muttertag geschenkt.
Zur Kette hatte ich ihr auch noch eine passende Schachtel gebastelt - das Armband passt dort noch mit rein und so habe ich jetzt noch eine süße Box für den Ring gemacht. Beide Boxen sind nach Anleitungen von Janas Bastelwelt entstanden, wobei ich die Schachtel für die Kette etwas abgewandelt habe, da sie eigentlich für eine Mini-Schokolade war.

I'm not the only one in our family who likes complete sets and so my mother, of course, wanted a fitting bracelet and ring for her "True Romance" necklace (design by Sandra Scholte).
I tried as best as I could to transfer the design to these pieces of jewelry and gave it to her today for Mother's Day.
I also made a matching box before for the necklace - the bracelet will fits in there, too and so I made a cute box for the ring. Both boxes were created according to instructions from Janas Bastelwelt, whereby I modified the box for the necklace, since it was actually for a mini chocolate.
