Ballspiel Set nach einer Anleitung vom Perlenstand

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Ihr wisst ja, dass ich nicht mehr so viel fädel. Aber ab und zu packt es mich doch noch. Diesmal war ich auf die Rosenhochzeit meiner Lieblingskollegin eingeladen. Und statt Blumen, wollte ich gerne was anderes mitbringen. Es sollte filigran und einfarbig sein. Und so bin ich auf die Idee gekommen ein Ballspiel Set nach einer Anleitung von Inge Gielen vom Perlenstand zu fädeln. Leider gibt es den Perlenstand nicht mehr. Ich habe es in silber gehalten. Meine Kollegin hat sich gefreut und es gefällt ihr sehr gut.

As you know, I don’t do as much beadwork these days. But every now and then, the urge strikes me again. This time, I was invited to my favorite colleague’s 10th wedding anniversary celebration. Instead of flowers, I wanted to bring something different—something delicate and monochromatic. That’s how I came up with the idea of ​​making a "ball game" set, following a pattern by Inge Gielen from *Perlenstand* (though, sadly, that shop no longer exists). I chose a silver color scheme. My colleague was delighted with it and really loves the set.

Toho Challenge 2026 - Material

Auch dieses Jahr stelle ich mich wieder der Herausforderung der Toho Challenge. Das Thema der diesjährigen Challenge lautet: "You are Mermazing"
Dieses Jahr sind sehr viele 11/0 Rocailles enthalten und dann noch Magatamas, 8/0 Triangles, 11/0 Demi Round, Ginko Beads, GemDuos, SuperDuos, Lentils, 4 mm Glasschliffperlen und 6 mm Rundperlen
Thema und Farben gefallen mir dieses Jahr richtig gut, aber es wird nicht so einfach umzusetzen sein. Ich bin schon selber gespannt, was dabei herauskommt.
Das Kit bekommt man, wie jedes Jahr, wieder bei Twinkle Beads und es scheinen auch noch Kits verfügbar zu sein.

This year, I'm taking on the Toho Challenge once again. The theme of this year's challenge is "You Are Mermazing."
This year's kit contains a lot of 11/0 seed beads, along with Magatamas, 8/0 Triangles, 11/0 Demi Rounds, Ginko Beads, GemDuos, SuperDuos, Lentils, 4 mm fire-polished glass beads, and 6 mm round beads.
I absolutely love this year's theme and color palette, but it certainly won't be easy to bring the project to life. I'm excited to see what I come up with myself!
As every year, the kit is available from Twinkle Beads, and it looks like there are still some kits in stock.

Polarlichter das Set

Zu meiner Embroidery-Kette "Polarlichter" habe ich mir noch einen passenden Armreif und einen Ring gemacht. Leider sind die beiden Sachen nicht mehr passend zur Creativa fertig geworden, aber irgendwann ergibt sich bestimmt eine Gelegenheit das Set auszuführen. 😊

I made a matching bangle and ring for my "Northern Lights" embroidered necklace. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish them in time for Creativa, but I'm sure an opportunity to wear the set will come up in the future. 😊

Polarlichter

Diese Kette habe ich letztes Jahr im Oktober auf einem Perlenwochenende angefangen. Die Elemente hatte ich danach relativ schnell fertig, aber dann lagen sie da erst mal und ich hatte keine Idee, wie ich sie am besten zusammenstelle und aneinandernähe. Die Creativa im März war dann der Anlass, dass ich mich endlich aufgerafft habe sie fertig zu stellen, damit ich sie dort tragen konnte.
Ich hab mal ein bisschen mit ChatGTP rumgespielt - damit kann man ja tolle Bilder aus seinen eher mittelmäßigen Fotos machen...

I started this necklace last October during a beading weekend. I finished the single elements a few weeks later, but then they just lay there for a while, as I had no idea how to arrange them in the best way and put them together. The Creativa fair in March finally gave me the push I needed to buckle down and finish it—so that I could wear it there.

I’ve also been playing around with ChatGPT—it really lets you turn rather mediocre photos into some pretty amazing images...

Sternenstaub / Stardust

Ich habe mir vor einiger Zeit kleine Sternchen-"Rivolis" mit Fassung gekauft weil ich die so niedlich fand. Folglich musste ich mir was überlegen, wie ich sie am Besten verarbeite und herausgekommen ist diese filigrane Kette.

I recently bought some small star-shaped "Rivolis" with settings because I thought they were so cute. Consequently, I had to figure out the best way to use them, and this delicate necklace is the result.

Peyote Armband Rose Diamonds

For Easter, we've put the pattern for the "Rose Diamonds" peyote bracelet in your Easter basket. This is number 2 of 3 in my black-gold-silver series, but of course, there's also an alternative color combination for those who prefer something a bit more colorful.

Rauten-Armband / Diamonds bracelet

In der letzten Zeit war es etwas ruhig auf dem Blog, daher gibt es heute zum Valentinstag dieses Peyote-Armband als kostenlosen Download für euch.
Ich habe es schon vor längerer Zeit in schwarz-gold-silber gefädelt, aber es sieht in anderen Farbkombis bestimmt auch gut aus. Zu der schwarz-gold-silbernen Version, die ihr hier findet, gibt es also auch noch eine spezielle Valentinsversion mit rot hier.

Peyote Armband "Geschenkpapier" / bracelet "wrapping paper"

Zwischendurch fädel ich immer wieder gerne mal ein Peyote-Armband und mit dem tollen Programm BeadTool 4 kann man es einfach und schnell entwerfen und wenn man eine Lizenz gekauft hat sogar speichern und ausdrucken.
Dieses Muster hatte ich ursprünglich in anderen Farben entworfen und so entstand der Name "Geschenkpapier". In den schönen matten Farben schwarz, silber und kupfer sieht es jetzt gar nicht mehr wie ein Geschenkpapier-Muster aus oder wenn, dann ein ganz edles.

I often enjoy making peyote stitch bracelets, and with the fantastic program BeadTool 4, you can design them quickly and easily. If you've purchased a license, you can even save and print them.
I originally designed this pattern in different colors, which is how it got the name "wrapping paper." Now, in the beautiful matte colors of black, silver, and copper, it doesn't look like wrapping paper at all, or if it does, it looks very elegant.
