Drei kleine Perlen - Schmuckstücke aus Perlen
Dieses Set aus Kette und Ring ist jetzt schon 10 Jahre alt, aber kurz nach Fertigstellung ist mir an einem Kettenelement der Faden gerissen und somit hat es nie den Weg auf den Blog gefunden.
Bei einem Treffen mit meiner Perlenfreundin Mirjam fiel es mir irgendwie in die Hände und Mirjam hat mit mir geschimpft, dass ich es reparieren und zeigen müsste. 😅
Beim Ring war mittlerweile das Gummi der Ringschiene auch porös geworden und so hat es noch mal über ein Jahr gedauert, bis ich endlich beides repariert habe.
Das Design gefällt mir eigentlich ganz gut mit den eckigen Einfassungen, aber es ist nicht schön zu fädeln, da man irgendwann nicht mehr gut durch die Perlen kommt. Vielleicht sollte ich das Design noch man etwas überarbeiten damit es besser klappt, was meint ihr?
This necklace and ring set is already 10 years old, but shortly after I finished it, the thread broke on one of the necklace components, so it never made it onto the blog.
During a get-together with my beading friend Mirjam, I somehow came across it again, and Mirjam gave me a hard time about it, saying that I really should repair it and finally show it. 😅
By that time, the elastic on the ring band had also become brittle, so it took me more than another year before I finally got around to repairing both pieces.
I actually quite like the design, especially the angular bezels, but it isn't very pleasant to bead because at some point it becomes difficult to get the needle through the beads. Maybe I should rework the design a little to make it easier to bead. What do you think?

Ich habe mir vor einiger Zeit kleine Sternchen-"Rivolis" mit Fassung gekauft weil ich die so niedlich fand. Folglich musste ich mir was überlegen, wie ich sie am Besten verarbeite und herausgekommen ist diese filigrane Kette.
I recently bought some small star-shaped "Rivolis" with settings because I thought they were so cute. Consequently, I had to figure out the best way to use them, and this delicate necklace is the result.

Dieses Projekt hat mir wirklich sehr viel Spaß gemacht! Zuerst habe ich mir die schönen Epoxidharz Cabochons gegossen und danach angefangen diese Steine einzufassen - ganz schlicht nur mit Rocailles in den Größen 11/0 und 15/0 in RAW und Peyote. Es war sehr spannend die Kette wachsen zu sehen und letztendlich das fertige Schmuckstück in Händen zu halten. Obwohl sie so groß ist, lässt sie sich sehr angenehm tragen, liegt gut am Hals und ist überhaupt nicht schwer. Und dann mussten natürlich auch noch ein passendes Armband und Ring gemacht werden.
I really enjoyed this project! First, I made the beautiful epoxy resin cabochons and then started to bezel them – very simply with seed beads in sizes 11/0 and 15/0, using RAW and peyote. It was very exciting to watch the necklace grow and finally hold the finished piece in my hands. Despite its size, it's very comfortable to wear, suits well around the neck, and isn't heavy at all.
And then, of course, a matching bracelet and ring had to be made.
