Perlen des diesjährigen Toho Challenge Mini Kits / Beads from this year's Toho Challenge Mini Kit

Am Mittwoch kamen meine mit Spannung erwarteten Perlen der Toho Challenge 2022 Kits an. Bestellen kann man sie in Deutschland über den Shop von Twinkle Beads.
Ich bin selber schon ganz gespannt was dieses Jahr entstehen wird. Eine erste wage Idee schwirrt schon in meinem Kopf herum - mal sehen, ob sie sich auch umsetzen lässt...

On Wednesday, my eagerly anticipated beads from the Toho Challenge 2022 Kit arrived. You can order them in Germany at Twinkle Beads.
I'm really excited about what my ideas will look like this year. A first vague idea is already buzzing around in my head - let's see if it can also be implemented...

Armband Tilly / Bracelet Tilly

Ich glaube, dieses Armband habe ich euch auch noch gar nicht gezeigt. Ist auch schon eine etwas ältere Kreation die ich als Trendsetter für Starman mit CzechMates Tile und Diamond Beads gemacht hatte.

I think I haven't shown you this bracelet yet. It's also an older creation that I made as a Trendsetter for Starman with CzechMates Tile and Diamond Beads.

Wild at Heart Collier schwarz-rot / black-red

Dieses Collier ist schon ein paar Jahre alt, hat es aber irgendwie nie auf's Foto geschafft. Das hier war der erste Collier-Versuch, eine etwas optimiertere Version habe ich schon mal hier gezeigt.

This necklace is already a few years old, but somehow never made it into a photo. This was the first collier attempt, I have already shown a slightly more optimized version here.

Cheapside Crossing

Es fing mit einem kleinen Element an, welches beim rumprobieren mit den Perlen aus der Toho Challenge 2021 entstanden ist...
Daraus wurde dann ein kleiner Kreuz-Anhänger, den ich erst mal zur Seite gelegt habe da ich selten einfach nur Anhänger trage. Irgendwann habe ich es dann weiterentwickelt und eine komplette Kette daraus gemacht.

It started with a single small element that I created while trying out the beads from the Toho Challenge 2021...
This turned into a small cross pendant, which I put aside because I rarely just wear pendants. At some point I developed it further and made a complete necklace out of it.

Altägyptisch / Ancient Egyptian

Nachdem ich die Idee zu diesen ägyptischen Symbolen in Peyote hatte, habe ich über eine Möglichkeit nachgedacht, wie man die im Stile eines Wechselrings mit austauschbaren Einzelelementen machen könnte.
Nach einigem Grübeln ist mir dann diese Idee gekommen mit den kleinen Druckknopfverschlüssen zwischen den Elementen. Wenn man die Elemente näher zusammen haben möchte, kann man sie auch einfach mit einem Biegering verbinden, aber dann ist der Wechsel natürlich nicht mehr ganz so einfach.
Ich kann mir dieses System auch noch mit vielen anderen Elementformen und Mustern vorstellen - ich hab einfach zu wenig Zeit... 😂

After coming up with the idea for these Egyptian symbols in peyote, I thought of a way to make them like the  interchangeable ring style with exchangeable elements.
After some pondering, this idea came to me with the small snap clasps between the elements. If you want to have the elements closer together, you can also simply connect them with a jump ring, but then the change is of course not that easy.
I can also imagine this system with many other element shapes and patterns - I just don't have enough time... 😂

Reach for the Stars - neue Version / new version

Ich habe meine Kette "Reach for the Stars" noch einmal in anderen Farben gefädelt, dafür hatte ich aber nur passende Cabochons in 25 und 20 mm. Aber auch mit den 20mm Cabochons hat es gut geklappt wenn man die Anzahl der Einheiten ändert. Und so habe ich das Design insgesamt noch etwas optimiert und z.B. Glasschliffperlen anstatt Rundperlen außen verwendet was das Ganze direkt aufpeppt, wie ich finde.

I made my "Reach for the Stars" necklace once again in other colors, but I only had matching cabochons in 25 and 20 mm. But it also works well with the 20mm cabochons if you change the number of units. And so I optimized the design a bit overall and e.g. used firepolished beads instead of round beads on the outside, which I think spices up the whole design directly.
