Solitaire Ring von Sidonia

Diese niedlichen kleinen Ringe habe ich auf einem Perlentreffen gesehen und mich sofort verliebt. Vor allem die tolle Möglichkeit gleich drei von ihnen zu kombinieren, so dass es wie ein großer Ring aussieht. Ich habe jetzt drei Ringe in Blautönen mit silbernen Ringschiene gemacht und die nächsten sind schon in Arbeit.

I saw this cute rings on a beader meeting some weeks ago and knew, I have to make my own.
Especially the great possibility to wear three like one big ring is brilliant. I made the rings in blue colors with a silver ring base and the next triple is in progress.

Portugiesische Azulejos Armband / Portuguese Azulejos bracelet

Wie versprochen kommt jetzt das Armband zu meiner Fliesen-Kette.
Leider musste ich beim fädeln des Armbandes feststellen, dass die Einfassung nicht ideal ist und wenn man nicht bretthart fädelt die Cabochons wieder raus fallen können.
Na ja, dieses Set bleibt jetzt so - das Element am Armband habe ich neu gemacht und an der Kette muss ich auch noch eins austauschen.

As promised, today I show you the bracelet to my tile necklace.
Unfortunately I had to realize, that the bezel isn't the best because if you don't bead it very tight the cabochon can drop out.
Well, this set remains - one element of the bracelet I made once again and one I still have to exchange at the necklace.

Carré Renaissance nach PrettyNett

Ich hatte bereits im letzten Jahr von Ulrike vom Blog PrettyNett einen Etsy-Gutschein für Neukunden geschenkt bekommen. Davon habe die Anleitung zum Armband Carré Renaissance von ihr ausgesucht. Das Armband ist echt schön. Leider hat es etwas läger gedauert bis ich es fertigstellen konnte. Erst ist mir eine Sorte Perlen ausgegangen, und als ich die endlich nachbestellt habe, hatte ich grade andere Fädelprojekte auf dem Perlentablett die ich erst fertigstellen wollte. Aber nun ist es endlich fertig und ich kann es euch zeigen. Da ich sehr fest fädel musste ich leider bei der Einfassung der Rivolis etwas ändern. Ich habe hier nur vier Bicones statt der vorgesehenen acht eingefügt.

Already last year Ulrike from the blog PrettyNett gave me an Etsy-coupon for new customers. For this coupon I choose the pattern for the bracelet Carré Renaissance from her. The bracelet is really nice. Sadly it took a little while until I could finish it. First one of the bead-types ran out of stock, and when I ordered them there were other beading projects on my beadingtray which I first wanted to finish. But now it is finished an I can show you. As I thread very stiff I had to change the fringe of the rivolis. Here I only used four bicones instead of the scheduled eight ones.

Portugiesische Azulejos / Homenagem aos azulejos portugueses

In Portugal sieht man noch sehr oft Häuser und Bilder mit diesen traditionellen blau-weißen Fliesen,  die man Azulehos nennt und die ich unheimlich schön und dekorativ finde. Hier seht Ihr einige Beispiele der Fliesen und hier etwas Hintergrundinfo.
Beim Stöbern im Netz bin ich auf die tollen Glascabochons gestoßen und es war klar, dass ich sie haben musste. Nach einigem tüfteln ist dann diese Kette entstanden aus Cabochons, Rullas und Rocailles in 11/0 und 15/0.
Das passende Armband ist auch schon in Arbeit, das zeige ich euch dann in meinem nächsten Post.

In Portugal you can still see houses and pictures with this traditional blue-white tiles that are named Azulejos and that I like so much. Here you see examples of the tiles and here are some background informations.
While surfing the internet I found this lovely glass cabochons and it was clear that I had to buy them.
After some tries I made this necklace by using the cabochons, Rullas and rocailles in 11/0 and 15/0.
The matching bracelet is under progress and I will show it in my next post.

Polka Dot Pendant

Diesen Anhänger habe ich in der neuen (Oktober 2017) Ausgabe der Bead & Button gesehen. Es gefiel mir auf Anhieb und da ich alle benötigten Perlen vorrätig hatte habe ich auch gleich losgelegt. Die Art der Anhängerschlaufe in der Anleitung ist super. So kann ich eine passende meiner hier gezeigten Würfelketten am Anhänger befestigen.
Das Design des Anhängers stammt von Ella Des.

This pendant I saw in the newest (October 2017) issue of Bead & Button. Straightaway I liked it and all needed beads have been in stock. So I could start immediately. The design of the bail shown in the pattern is great. I could use one of my "Würfelketten" which I've shown here for this pendant.

Angelique braun-rosa

Die "Angelique" von Monique de Boer gefällt mir so gut, dass ich direkt noch eine zweite gefädelt habe. Bei dieser hier habe ich mal Resin-Rivolis in verschiedenen Rosa- bis Orangetönen ausprobiert - die sind gar nicht so schlecht und wesentlich günstiger als Glas-Rivolis.
Erst war ich ratlos was für Rocailles ich für die RAW-Einfassung und CRAW-Stränge verwenden sollte, aber dann ist mir ein mattes dunkles Braun in die Finger gekommen - eigentlich mal ein Fehlkauf mit dem ich bisher nichts anfangen konnte. Hier passt es aber ganz gut wie ich finde.

I love the "Angelique" from Monique de Boer so much, that I had to make a second one. On this version I used resin rivolis in a range of rose and orange colors - the resin rivolis are not so bad and significant cheaper than glass rivolis.
First I didn't know what color to choose for the RAW bezel and CRAW strands, but then I remembered a dark matt brown color I once bought and didn't like - here it fits perfect as I think.

Alegria-Anhänger mit ganz viel Glitzer / Alegria-pendant with many glitter

Ich habe schon wieder mit meinem Alegria-Design gespielt und weitere Dinge ausprobiert. Diesmal ist es ein Anhänger aus drei mal drei Grundelementen geworden. Diese habe ich dann jeweils mit 6 mm Chatons in verschiedenen Blautönen versehen. Durch die Chatons wird der Anhänger sehr fest, was ich sehr mag und er glitzert jetzt so richtig schön. Das Wildlederband hab ich einfach durch die Verbindung zwischen zwei Einfassungen gefädelt. So brauchte ich keine extra Schlaufe anbringen.

Once again I played with my Alegria-Design and made some more tries. This time it became a pendant from nine elements. These elements I supplied with 6 mm chatons in different shades of blue. With the chatons the pendant gets stiff, what I like very much and it glitters so nice. The band of suede I threaded between two bezels. So I didn't have to make an extra bail.

Arco-íris Armband

Zu einer meiner Ketten "Arco-íris" habe ich mir jetzt schon mal ein passendes Armband gefädelt. Fehlt also nur noch ein Ring. Die Farbe der Rocailles finde ich besonders schön, es ist PF552 galvanized Fairy Wings von Toho.

For one of my "Arco-íris" necklaces I now made a fitting bracelet (so only a ring is missing). I love the color of the rocailles I used, it's PF552 galvanized Fairy Wings from Toho.

Schmuck mit Abwurfstangen / Jewelry with horn

Meine Kollegin fragte mich ob ich ihr Schmuck aus einer Abwurfstange machen könnte. Dazu hat sie die Stange von ihrem Bruder zersägen und teilweise Löcher reinbohren lassen. Ich habe dann meine Fantasie spielen lassen und das ist dabei rausgekommen.

My colleague ask me to make some jewelry from horn for her. Therefore she took a horn and let her brother cut it and drill holes into it. I let my imagination run wild and this is the result.

Ein Endstück ohne Loch habe ich knapp eingefasst und an eine zarte Kette gelegt.
One endpiece without a hole I bezeled thight and put it to a gentle necklace.

Ein Mittelstück (auch ohne Loch) habe ich zu einem Armband verarbeitet.
From another piece of the middle (without hole) I made a bracelet.

Und ein etwas größeres Stück mit Loch habe ich auf ein Baumwollband gefädelt und zu beiden Seiten Farfalle-Perlen ergänzt. Diese Kette ist etwas rustikaler.
This bigger piece with a hole I put on a cotton thread and added farfalle beads at both sides. This necklace is a bit rustic.

Es hat viel Spaß gemacht mit diesem ungewöhnlichen Material zu arbeiten.
It was fun playing with this special material.
