Altägyptisch / Ancient Egyptian

Nachdem ich die Idee zu diesen ägyptischen Symbolen in Peyote hatte, habe ich über eine Möglichkeit nachgedacht, wie man die im Stile eines Wechselrings mit austauschbaren Einzelelementen machen könnte.
Nach einigem Grübeln ist mir dann diese Idee gekommen mit den kleinen Druckknopfverschlüssen zwischen den Elementen. Wenn man die Elemente näher zusammen haben möchte, kann man sie auch einfach mit einem Biegering verbinden, aber dann ist der Wechsel natürlich nicht mehr ganz so einfach.
Ich kann mir dieses System auch noch mit vielen anderen Elementformen und Mustern vorstellen - ich hab einfach zu wenig Zeit... 😂

After coming up with the idea for these Egyptian symbols in peyote, I thought of a way to make them like the  interchangeable ring style with exchangeable elements.
After some pondering, this idea came to me with the small snap clasps between the elements. If you want to have the elements closer together, you can also simply connect them with a jump ring, but then the change is of course not that easy.
I can also imagine this system with many other element shapes and patterns - I just don't have enough time... 😂

Reach for the Stars - neue Version / new version

Ich habe meine Kette "Reach for the Stars" noch einmal in anderen Farben gefädelt, dafür hatte ich aber nur passende Cabochons in 25 und 20 mm. Aber auch mit den 20mm Cabochons hat es gut geklappt wenn man die Anzahl der Einheiten ändert. Und so habe ich das Design insgesamt noch etwas optimiert und z.B. Glasschliffperlen anstatt Rundperlen außen verwendet was das Ganze direkt aufpeppt, wie ich finde.

I made my "Reach for the Stars" necklace once again in other colors, but I only had matching cabochons in 25 and 20 mm. But it also works well with the 20mm cabochons if you change the number of units. And so I optimized the design a bit overall and e.g. used firepolished beads instead of round beads on the outside, which I think spices up the whole design directly.

Saladine Ringe

Zu meinen "Saladine"-Ketten wollte ich mir auch komplette Sets machen. Bei den Ringen hat das auch gut geklappt, nur die Armbänder sind nach dem Probetragen doch nicht so alltagstauglich und baumeln durch die Dagger einfach zu labberig am Arm. Die werde ich dann wohl wie die Ringe etwas dezenter und ohne Dagger machen müssen.

I wanted to make complete sets for my "Saladine" necklaces. It worked well with the rings, only the bracelets are not so suitable for everyday use after trying them out and simply dangle too loosely on the arm due to the dagger. I'll probably have to make them a little more subtle like the rings and without the daggers.

Daisy Chain Duet schwarz & weiß / black & white

Ich habe mein "Daisy Chain Duet" Design noch mal in einer etwas außergewöhnlicheren Farbzusammenstellung gefädelt. So gefällt sie mir besonders gut, da sie durch die zwei verschiedenfarbigen Seiten eine ganz besondere Wirkung hat und ein Armband durfte natürlich auch nicht fehlen.

I made my "Daisy Chain Duet" design again in a slightly more unusual color combination. I particularly like it because it has a very special effect thanks to the two different-colored sides, and of course a bracelet couldn't be missing.

Herzen & Ranken als Gelstift Muster / Hearts & Tendrils as pen cover

Ich habe mein Armband "Herzen und Ranken" ein bisschen abgewandelt um daraus ein Gelstift-Muster zu machen. Und da ja heute Valentinstag ist, könnt Ihr euch die Peyote-Anleitung dafür hier kostenlos herunterladen.

Meine/My SchnabelinaBag

Als ich angefangen habe zu nähen hat es mir diese tolle Tasche gleich angetan. Sie hat mir richtig gut gefallen, aber anfangs habe ich mich noch nicht so recht an sie getraut, da ich dachte es wäre schwer sie nachzuarbeiten. Zumal ich auch wenig Erfahrung mit der Nähmaschine habe und noch nie einen Nähkurs oder ähnliches besucht habe. Zum Glück habe ich mich dann doch rangetraut und diese tolle Tasche ist entstanden. Bei dieser ersten SchnabelinaBag habe ich alle Besonderheiten die die Anleitung bereit hält umgesetzt. Und was soll ich sagen? Die Anleitung ist super beschrieben und auch für Anfänger gut umzusetzen. Jetzt bin ich froh, dass ich mich doch daran getraut habe denn die Tasche gefällt mir richtig gut. As soon as I started sewing, I fell in love with this great bag. I really liked it, but at first I didn't really dare to do it because I thougt it would be difficult to rework it. Especially since I had little experience with the sewing machine and have never attended a sewing course or anything similar. Luckily I dared to try it and this great bag was created. With this first SchnabelinaBag I realised all the special features that the instructions provide. And what should I say? The instructions are well described and easy to implement even for beginners.
