Meine Flower Power Ringe/ My Flower Power rings

Nach einer Idee von Daniela, habe ich mir auch zwei Flower Power Ringe gefädelt. Leider ist einer schon kaputt gegangen. Und ich mag es leider gar nicht, Schmuckstücke zu reparieren. :(

Based on Danielas idea , I've sewed two Flower Power rings. Unfortunately, one is already broken. And I don't like to repair jewelry. :(

Anhänger Granada mit Würfelkette/ Pendant Granada with a cubic necklace

Aus dem Buch "Fantasien aus Perlen" von Sabine Lippert habe ich diesen Granada gefädelt. Die Kette ist eine Würfelkette nach einer Anleitung von "Der Perlenstand".

From the book "Beaded Fantasies" by Sabine Lippert I made this Granada. The necklace is created by a pattern from "Der Perlenstand".

Teil 2 - Cabochons? - Kann man auch selber machen!

Da der erste Post hierzu immer noch oft angeklickt wird, möchte ich euch hier in Bildern zeigen wie es gemacht wird.

Because there are still many accesses to the first post of Fimo cabochons, I would like to show you with some photos how to make it.

Man braucht: Fimo oder Pardo (Schmuckmasse), scharfe Messer / Klingen, Talkumpuder und Pinsel, Cabochonformen, Claygun, Schmirgelpapier und Klarlack für Fimo. You need: Fimo or Pardo, sharp knife, talcum powder and brush, cabochon molds, claygun, sandpaper and clear coat for fimo.

Zuerst mischen wir ein paar Farben, damit wir ganz viele Blautöne haben. Einfach z.B. blaues und weisses Fimo verkneten bis sich die Farben vermischen. First we mix some colors to have many shades of blue. E.g. kneat some blue and white Fimo together until the colors blend.

Teller mit Mehl, auf den ich die Cabochons zum Backen lege damit sie sich nicht verformen. Plate with flour for the cabochons to bake so they don't deform.

Formen mit Talkum einpinseln. Brush the Molds with talcum.

Fimo in Stücke schneiden, aneinanderlegen und zu einer Stange rollen. Cut the Fimo into pieces, put it together and roll it to a stack.

 

Dann in die Claygun schieben. Put it into the claygun.

Und mit viel Kraft das Fimo vorne rausquetschen und in Scheiben schneiden. Press with power to get the Fimo out and cut it into pieces.

Die Scheiben aneinander legen. Put the slices against each other.

Vorsichtig darüber rollen, damit es eine durchgängige Platte ohne Löcher wird. Carful roll over the slices to blend them without holes.

Mit einem scharfen Messer vom Untergrund lösen und in die Form drücken. Lift it with a sharp knife and press it into the mold.

Den Rest fülle ich mit normalem Fimo auf und schneide alles überstehende ab. The backing I fill with normal Fimo and cut the overlapping.

Fertig zum backen. Ready for baking.

Noch mal andere Farben. Once again with different colors.

Ab in den Ofen. In the oven now.

Fertig gebacken, jetzt müssen sie nur noch geschmirgelt, poliert und lackiert werden. Ready, now they only have to be sanded, polished and coated.

Anhänger mit Fimostein/ Pendant with Fimo swirl

Den Fimostein in der Mitte habe ich selber (mit Nicoles Hilfe) gemacht. Er hat ungefähr einen Durchmesser von 4,5 cm. Eingefasst und verziert habe ich ihn nach einer Idee aus dem Buch "Brillanter Kristallschmuck von Laura McCabe". Als Kette habe ich eine Metallkette mit Bicones aufgepimpt. Das ganze in meiner Lieblingsfarbe lila. :-)

The Fimo swirl in the middle is self made (with Nicole's help). It has a diameter of about 4.5 cm. The bezel and the adornment is based on an idea from the book "Brillanter Kristallschmuck by Laura McCabe". The metal chain I've pimped with bicones. The whole thing in my favorite color purple. :-)

Hallo Ihr lieben Perlen!
Wie Ihr ja sicher in unserem Post zur Messe in Hamburg gesehen habt, hatte ich mir dort ein paar Piggy-Perlen gekauft. Nun hab ich mich mal daran gemacht etwas daraus zu fädeln. Und es ist mir tatsächlich gelungen eine Kette zu fädeln. Aber seht selbst.

18mm Softtouch Cabochons

Wie Ihr ja wisst, habe ich mich im Moment in die Softtouch Cabochons verliebt. :) Aus einigen 18mm Cabochon sind diese Anhänger nach meiner eigenen Idee entstanden. Der kleine Anhänger hat einen Durchmesser von 3cm und der Große von 4,5 cm.

As I told you, I fell in love with softtouch cabochons :-) Some of my 18mm cabochons became this self-designed pendants. The little one has a diamter of 3cm and the Great of 4.5cm.

Verwendetes Material:
- 18mm Softtouch Cabochon
- Zwei-Loch-Perlen/ Two-hole-Beads (gleichmäßig/ equally)
- 15/0 und 11/0 Rocailles
- 11/0 Delicas
- 3mm Bicones
- 4mm Bicones (nur im kleinen Anhänger/ only for the little one)
- 4mm und 3mm Rundperlen/ round beads (nur im großen Anhänger/ only for the great one)

Ich glaube, ich kann mir nur Anhänger ausdenken. Egal was ich ausprobiere, am Ende ist es meistens ein Anhänger.

I think, I only can do pendants. Whatever I try, in the end most of the times it became a pendant.

30mm Softtouch Cabochon

Irgendwie habe ich im Moment Softouch Cabochons für mich entdeckt. Aus einem 30mm Cabochon ist dieser Anhänger nach eigener Idee entstanden.

At the moment I fall in love with softtouch cabochons. With a 30mm cabochon I created this pendent after my own idea.
