Dune Necklace

Diese tollen Peyote-Wellen-Ketten habe ich schon in mehreren schönen Ausführungen gesehen und eigentlich wollte ich die Anleitung "Sculptural peyote necklace" von der lieben Uli (Not without my beads) fädeln. Leider stellte sich dann heraus, dass ich keine Rocailles in 9/0 und 7/0 habe und nur sehr wenige in 10/0 und 6/0.
Also musste ich auf eine andere Anleitung ausweichen und bin auf die "Dune Necklace" von Bronzepony gestoßen. Ich weiß nicht, wie oft ich neu angefangen habe, aber zuerst wollte es überhaupt nicht mit der richtigen Wölbung klappen, also verschiedene Fäden ausprobiert und dann war die erste Farbkombi irgendwie auch nix. Nach vielen Versuchen und ausprobieren ist dann das hier entstanden. Mir gefällt sie ganz gut, aber sie ist sehr fest geworden und überhaupt nicht so fließend wie bei Bronzepony. Irgendwas entscheidendes hab ich wohl doch noch falsch gemacht...

I saw these nice peyote-wave-necklaces in diverse finishes and actually I wanted to make one after the design "Sculptural peyote necklace" from Uli (Not without my beads). Unfortunately I didn't have rocailles in 9/0 and 7/0 and only a few in 10/0 and 6/0.
So I had to switch to another pattern and found the "Dune Necklace" from Bronzepony. I don't know how often I began new because the bowing didn't work, I tried several threads and after that I didn't like the color combination any more. After many attempts this necklace was the result and now I like it, but it's very stiff and not so floating as the original. So apparently I made something essential wrong...

Starlight by Dorothy Wood

Diesen Anhänger habe ich bei einer Freundin gesehen und fand ihn gleich toll. Die Anleitung dazu ist von Dorothy Wood. Ihr findet sie in der Perlen Poesie 31.
Ich habe den Anhänger ohne Anleitung gefädelt. Ich denke er ist nicht ganz genau so wie in der Zeitung, vor allem die Einfassung des Rivoli.

A friend of mine made a pendant like this and I liked it very much. The pattern is from Dorothy Wood. You can find it in the magazine "Perlen Poesie 31".
I made this pendant without any pattern. I think it is a little bit different to the original one. Especially the bezel of the rivoli.

Ying Hua

Bei Christina habe ich eine Elfi mit den tollen Mondsteinperlen gesehen und fand die soooo schön, dass ich etwas änliches auch haben wollte.
Nach langer Zeit bin ich jetzt endlich dazu gekommen mir ein ganzes "Ying Hua" Set aus dem Buch "Eine Perlenreise durch China" von Xin Zhao mit Mondsteinperlen zu machen und ich finde die Farben einfach nur traumhaft schön, genau das Richtige für den Sommer.

When I saw Christinas Elfi with this amazing moonstone beads, I decided that I want to make something similar.
After a long time I finally got around to make a whole "Ying Hua" set from the book "Eine Perlenreise durch China" from Xin Zhao with moonstone beads and I just love the colors, they are just right for the summer.

Moulin Rouge

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Die Anleitung habe ich von Nicole & Daniela geschenkt bekommen. :-****
Ich habe das Set in silber/black AB gehalten.

Sweet Eighteen

Heute zeige ich euch die Ohrringe "Sweet Eighteen" aus dem Buch "Fantasien aus Perlen" von Sabine Lippert. Bei der Originalanleitung stehen die Bicones recht lose in alle Richtungen. Das gefiel mir nicht so gut, weshalb ich hier noch ein wenig weitergefädelt habe um die Bicones zu befestigen. Das Ergebnis gefällt mir sehr gut, da nun der Rivoli durch alle Lücken schimmert.

Today I like to show you the earrings "Sweet Eighteen". You can find this pattern in the book "Fantasien aus Perlen" von Sabine Lippert. When I made the earrings after this pattern the bicones stood slackly in all directions. I didn't like this, so I worked one more round to attatch the bicones. Now I like the result very much. The rivoli glints through the gaps.

Black Sun

Zur Abwechslung und damit ich nicht aus der Übung komme, hier mal wieder eine "Golden Sun" aus dem Buch "Perlen und Freundschaft" von Petra Tismer.
Diesmal ganz in schwarz, matt und glänzend - bis ich eine dunklere Farbe finde. ;-)

For a change and in order I don't get out of practice, here is one more "Golden Sun" from the Book "Perlen und Freundschaft" von Petra Tismer.
This time entirely in black, frosted and shiny - until I find a darker color. ;-)
